School Clubs (feat. Yandere Simulator)

Do Joining Clubs Give You Any Benefit?

Probably. Looking into Japanese culture there have been clubs for quite some time now. Students in Japan wake up early for school and gets home around 6:00 pm. Why? Because of club activities. Clubs need to be at least a group of five or more people, an available teacher for their adviser and a common interest. Without these requirements, a club cannot be formed. So... What do people do in club activities? Anything, but it has to be related to their club. It would be senseless if a science club started painting a portrait of themselves or the music club running on track for fifteen minutes.

These club activities can help boost your knowledge, skill and technique. A perfect example is the art club. During club activities the leader gives them an activity like sculpting fruits from clay or sketching their friend's faces. Before joining a club they would have to test your ability. For example, if you want to join the music club but can't sing or play any instrument, then what's the point of joining that club?

There is also a limit to how many clubs you can join. Some schools may allow two or three but in the game I'm featuring you can only join one at a time. In Yandere Simulator joining a club has major benefits. The twist is that if you leave the club you're not allowed to join again. This gives a nice challenge to the game.

Just like in real life, clubs in Yandere Simulator has it's different benefits that you could get from each one of them. There will be times where being in a club and joining club activities may become troublesome. An example is when you have exams, home works or even problems at home. This will cause you to lose extra time to be with your family and doing academic work. You lose something that's worth of gold  and once time passes, you can't rewind to a certain point of time and change things. You can only change the future from where you are now. Another loss is that what if you're tired from lectures and seat works but have club activities related to sports? Wouldn't that just drain every drop of strength you have left in you?

There was this one anime that I've watched before (I couldn't remember the title though) that if you don't join any club, you're treated as an outcast. You wouldn't get large portions of meals during breakfast lunch or dinner, you will be shunned by other people, you don't even get your own dorm! The main character had to sleep in the hallways in a sleeping bag! I personally think that this is ridiculous. Clubs exist for people to enhance their skills or kill time doing their favorite hobby. It's not a requirement for every student to join a club.

Lastly I would like to mention Yandere Simulator again. This game highlights the benefits of clubs. Another fun thing is that there are a lot of clubs to be in. It's not advisable to switch clubs frequently, whether you're in the game or not. It's unusual to see someone switch from one club to another within a day or a week. People usually stick to their favorite clubs so they wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.
